Immersions
“Benita has an energizing presence and is contagiously up lifting.”
- A Student, Scottsdale, Arizona
The Celtic School of Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School
Immersions will focus on the non-dual philosophy and mythology of the Celtic tradition alongside the non-dual philosophy of Indian Tantra (as epitomised in Anusara yoga) and emphasise the connections and counterpoints involved in both. The emphasis of the philosophy module will be on the Earth wisdom, poetry, music, myth, sacred sites and philosophy of the Celtic world.
These transformational Immersions are designed for all students of all levels, backgrounds, religions and ages wishing to engage and deepen the experience of your heart, mind, body and world through your yoga practice. There will be no instruction on learning to teach yoga in these beginning immersion modules, and they are necessary to participate in the teacher training modules. You can expect the days to fly by and be filled with revelation through music, story and myth, philosophy, hatha yoga practice, bio-mechanical technical alignment based on the Anusara® yoga universal alignment principles, breath, meditation, visits to sacred sites in the company of other like-hearted friends.
The immersions and teacher trainings are fun and highly educational with a focus on all the practical skills needed for inspirational living and safe and effective teaching. A concise armory of skills teachers will need to learn to lead inspiring, safe, skillful classes will be offered, including but not limited to:
